a. Training and research specialist
Once the graduate has completed the acquisition of the required ECTS credits in relation to the appropriate groups of scientific-disciplinary sectors, he/she will be able to:
- access, in compliance with the legislation in force and subject to passing the admission tests, secondary teaching as a teacher of literary and historical-geographical subjects in first and second-grade secondary schools, with teaching functions and the design of training courses in the relevant subject areas;
- carry out advanced research, in the linguistic, philological-literary, historical, archaeological, artistic-musicological disciplines, as part of PhD programmes or at qualified public and private institutions.
Career opportunities:
- teaching of literary and historical-geographical subjects in secondary schools (according to current legislation and subject to passing the admission tests);
- technical and research activities in the sciences of antiquity, philological-literary, historical, archaeological and musicological sciences;
- PhDs, subject to admission tests;
- technical and research activities in public and private organisations, as well as foundations, in which research activities are carried out in the fields of the sciences of antiquity, philological-literary, historical, archaeological and musicological sciences.
