The quality of the programme is assured through regular meetings of the quality assurance committees.
The course will also be regularly reviewed by means of comparisons with PhD practices in different university contexts, especially in a European perspective. Another aspect of quality will be the innovative didactic training at the university.
Based on the AVA3 guidelines, according to which "the doctoral programme allows and encourages the participation of doctoral candidates in teaching and tutoring activities, within the limits of consistency and compatibility with the research activities carried out" (attention point D.PHD.2.5), seminar and complementary activities carried out by doctoral candidates will be encouraged and carefully supervised.
In addition, the doctoral students who will be entrusted with tutoring activities based on the various notices available will play an active role in the tutoring training initiatives already organised in the department.
The Teaching Board and the Steering Committee will regularly monitor the training project based on the data provided by the survey of doctoral students' opinions (also by means of focus groups), paying particular attention not only to the content, but also to the teaching methods and the training and research output of the various activities.
