Learning objectives
Aim of the laboratory is to prepare students to work within the school contexts. In particular, they will be introduced to research work, to students’ and teachers’ services and to organizational activities. In all of these cases, the students will acquire competences and professional methods.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of developmental psychology, educational psychology and adolescence are prerequisites.
Course unit content
The laboratory is offered to students of the second year of the master in Clinical and applied psychology. It is aimed at offering students a critical and exhaustive picture concerning the contribution of psychology to the school contexts and of the professional role of school psychologists. In particular, it will focus on school intervention on three levels. An individual level (for students, teachers or parents), a class level (on the relational dynamics in the classroom) and an institutional level (management of human resources and school-family relationships).
