Integrated course unit module: HEALTH AND CORPORATE ECONOMICS

Learning objectives

I) Knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course the student will know the essentials of business economics, the characteristics of the measuring system, the management, the process of planning and control in a company health with particular reference to the instrument of badget
II) Skills: At the end of the course students will be able to read and interpret the main information of accounting and non-accounting, read and interpret a financial statement, and will be able to promote schemes for improvement in terms of efficiency and effectiveness to 'inside of your company / service / UUOO

Course unit content

- The budget as a tool for better programming: analysis of your company budget with the aim to identify and classify targets for UO consistent with the activities and benchmarking with the budgets of other health agencies in order to structure and promote improvement schemes (indicators and results).
- Creation of a project (paper) which, starting from an existing critical issues within the company or in the health system, promotes a sustainable solution in terms of economic and capable of generating improved efficiency (optimized use of resources) and effectiveness (quality improvement).
