Learning objectives
The course speech therapy in learning disorders is part of the integrated course of speech therapy II.
The aim of the course is to enable the student to learn and understand the main professional acts that the speech pathologist must perform in front of patients with learning disorders; To acquire the basics of logopedica evaluation and rehabilitation of DSA. The course also aims to make the student able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in order to orientate themselves during the practical training carried out with people with DSA and during the workshops.

Course unit content
The first lessons relate to the neuropsychological bases, the executive functions involved, the requirements and the main reference models related to reading writing and the number system.
The main learning Disorders (DSA) of the speech pathologist's competence are then defined: Dyslexia, disorthography, dyscalculia and disorder of comprehension of the text. At a later time, the main tools for evaluating the DSA, the logopaedic rehabilitation process, and the main compensatory and dispensary instruments are described. The lessons are concluded with the description of the screening guidelines for D.A.

Teaching methods
The lectures provide the presentation in video projection of the course content.
Le lectures about valutation and rehabilitation comprehends moment of active participation of the student for learning main concept with problem solving process.
The last minutes of class are reserved for questions of clarification from the students.
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of learning and knowledge acquired includes a written or oral examination. By means of written/oral questions about the contents of the course, will occur if the student has achieved the objectives of knowledge and understanding of the course content. The student must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the main clinical aspect, evaluation and rehabilitation of DSA
