Learning objectives

The course aims to provide an overview of the psychological processes in which these are involved, the study of the ways and forms in which experience, mental and practical activity, and behaviors are articulated with the social context.
An articulation that is expressed both at the level of basic processes of relationship life and of those phenomena that these processes create by operating in the concrete sphere of social interaction.

Full programme

In the first part of the course it will be a question of understanding how the processes that guide our interpretation of the world work, our attitudes and behaviors, the idea we have of ourselves, what facilitates or limits the expression of aggression or contrary to prosocial behaviors.
The second part of the course topics will be discussed that will talk about what leads us to feel belonging to or excluded from a social community, to understand the foundations of common action, when it is guided by stereotypes and prejudices that always accompany the conflict between groups and when it can instead be guided by inclusive cagorizations that work to make us feel united together.
In the final part of the course, we will deepen specific thematic areas, that of understanding how the digital revolution is influencing our mental, emotional and social processes and how these processes guide our approach to the great problems that humanity has before it, first of all the environmental problem.
professional experts in the various fields (specialised coordinators and social services managers).
