Why in Parma?
Because you can choose from three educational tracks that reflect cutting-edge research in Parma: Theoretical Physics, Physics of Matter and Functional Materials, Biophysics, and Physics of Soft Matter. Because you can further develop and pursue your interests in the many fields of activity of physics through a broad choice of teaching.
Because special attention is paid to laboratory activities, both experimental and computational, present in many teachings: they are fundamental from an academic training viewpoint, but also very useful for developing the ability to work in a team.
Close contact with leading research groups, with interactions at national and international level, will give you the opportunity to conduct highly topical and relevant studies, in both basic and applied research. Finally, you can see how the balanced ratio between the number of students and the number of teachers fosters learning and fruitful discussion.
