Quality assurance
The PhD program, as defined by DM 226/2024, provides the necessary skills to conduct high-level research at universities, public institutions, and private entities. It also serves as a pathway for careers in public administration and the integration of highly innovative professional trajectories.
Quality Assurance (QA) in PhD programs is structured around three key areas:
- Design of the PhD program;
- Planning and organization of training and research activities to support doctoral candidates' development;
- Monitoring and improvement of activities;
The main entities involved in QA for the PhD program are:
- PhD Board
- Review Group
- Advisory Committee
The key reference documents for QA include:
- Periodic accreditation document of the PhD program;
- Minutes of stakeholder consultations;
- Minutes of the PhD Board meetings;
- PhD program regulations;
- Review documents;
- PhD program website;
- Surveys on doctoral candidates’ and PhD graduates’ opinions (ANVUR; Almalaurea; internal surveys).
