Student tutors

The University offers its students a tutoring service, aimed at guiding and assisting them throughout their course.
Tutoring is carried out by all members of the teaching staff and students identified through an annual call for applications.

Student tutor

The student tutor is an experienced student or doctoral or postgraduate student who puts his or her practical experience at the service of those in need.
In particular: 

  • welcoming new students
  • assistance in the compilation of programmes of study
  • advice on the course catalogue (curriculum, prerequisites, examinations)
  • help in organising study and examinations
  • supplementary activities
  • support in finding information on international mobility and curricular internships

The Degree Course in Political science and International Relations offers two kinds of tutoring activity: general tutoring and tutoring for supplementary educational, preparatory and remedial activities.

1) General tutoring

 This service offers students information and advice on study methods, how to prepare for and tackle examinations, programme of studying, and answers to specific questions relating to individual examination programmes.

2) Tutoring for supplementary educational, preparatory and remedial activities.

This service offers help to students who have difficulties preparing for and passing examinations in specific subjects.
Through the support provided by tutors, students will be able to correct their study method, better clarify certain parts of the examination syllabus and improve their presentation skills.

Internationalisation tutor

Internationalisation tutors support the internationalisation programmes and projects at the Department. These activities include the dissemination of internationalisation opportunities to students enrolled on the various degree courses and support for students already studying abroad during the academic year.

ER.GO Scholarship Tutor

ER.GO provides a Tutoring Service, in each Department, reserved for three-year and single-cycle freshmen students, beneficiaries of scholarships.

This is a support service for overcoming any difficulties in organizing study and in participating in university life.

You can contact your reference tutor, requesting an individual interview, also online, in order to be helped to orient yourself and get targeted information within your degree program.
