The programme offers multidisciplinary training, enabling students to understand, interpret and manage the problems of contemporary political and social systems in all their complexity.

The programme is characterized by a marked attention to the quality of teaching which is increasingly oriented to a laboratory approach and is highly appreciated by students.

Following the initial two years, which focus on laying the foundation of key competencies in history, law, economics, sociology, and political science, students can choose in the third year to either pursue specialisation in public administration or in international relations.

Third edition of the International Summer School - from May 26 to June 20, 2025

The Department of Law, Politics and International Studies organizes, in collaboration with the Albany Law School in Albany, New York, the third edition of the Summer School entitled "Towards the 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: A Focus on Climate, Food and Equality".

The Summer School will be held at the University of Parma, from May 26 to June 20, 2025
