Student tutors

The University offers its students a tutoring service, aimed at guiding and assisting students throughout their course of study.

Tutoring is carried out by Course teaching staff and students identified through an annual call for applications published on the Department website.

Student tutor

The student tutor is an experienced student or doctoral or postgraduate student who puts his or her practical experience at the service of those in need.

In particular, he/she is responsible for:

  • welcoming new students
  • assisting with the compilation of programmes of study
  • advising on course units (curriculum, preparatory course units, examinations)
  • helping with the organisation of study and examinations
  • supplementary didactic activities
  • support in finding information on international mobility and curricular internships
  • relations with the administrative services

Tutors will be available through the Teams platform, by appointment to be agreed by e-mail.

   
Students can turn to student tutors for any problems they may have with their studies: drawing up a programme of study, difficulties in settling in or approaching the organisation of university studies, logistical and didactic problems (e.g. related to attending classes and preparing for exams), introduction to the use of the Department's facilities such as libraries and laboratories, assistance in preparing for exams and dissertations.
