Learning objectives
The degree course in Educational sciences (class L-19) enables students to attain the knowledge and skills required in various extracurricular educational contexts.
The degree course is oriented towards the possession of critical and theoretical tools, historical and cultural in-depth study, analysis of educational contexts, research methodologies, planning (from needs analysis to educational intervention, evaluation of intervention), and the promotion of learning also in the context of special educational needs.
At the end of the course, graduates will have acquired:
- the necessary basic theoretical knowledge in the pedagogical, didactic, psychological and sociological disciplines necessary for the understanding and interpretation of educational contexts in their complexity, with the help of course units in the literary, philosophical and historical-educational fields;
- planning and operational skills for the analysis of contexts, the identification of training needs, the construction, implementation and subsequent evaluation of educational interventions, with in-depth studies concerning economic geography, legal disciplines and special educational needs;
- transversal skills and competences (soft skills), for adequate management of one's own and the student's training needs;
- for graduates oriented towards the professional field of child education, specific knowledge and competences in the pedagogical, psychological, sociological and medical fields.
