Learning objectives
Provide the basic historical-critical and bibliographical tools for the analysis and understanding of the main movements, achievements and protagonists of this fundamental period. To stimulate the critical sense through the knowledge of historic events and buildings.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the main events of Western culture and civilization from prehistory to the medieval period
Course unit content
This course focuses on architectural space from the dawn of history to the medieval period through an analysis of buildings and their designers.
