Integrated course unit module: RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Learning objectives

After this course the student will be provided with the knowledge and the basic concepts to orient his/her clinical approach and counseling towards women who experience conflictual conditions when planning during or after the pregnancy.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of methods and critical issues related to neonatal prematurity, abortion, assisted reproduction and prenatal diagnosis.

Course unit content

Philosophical approach to bioethics in the following areas: termination of pregnancy, prenatal testing, eugenetics, assisted reproductive technology, neonatal resuscitation, scientific research.

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation of the achievement of module objectives is a written test including multiple choice questions about arguments treated during the lessons.
The grade will be in 30/30. The grade of the integrated course will be the credits-weighted mean of all modules.
