Course units and programme of study

The list of course units in the programme of study represents the set of training activities that can be envisaged for each of the years of which the degree course consists and changes according to the year in which the student enrols.
At the beginning of each academic year, the Student Choice and Restricted Choice educational activities are announced by the Course Council, without prejudice to the student's right to autonomously choose other activities within the University of Parma that are consistent with the educational project.
The programme of study is drawn up online and each year the university indicates the time frame within which it can be submitted. Several options are offered to achieve the 12 ECTS credits. The course units included in the programme of study contribute to the determination of the average.
The student may request recognition of credits for free participation activities, i.e. activities carried out in the sporting, cultural or social sphere for a cumulative maximum of 6 ECTS credits (http://www.unipr.it/didattica/info-amministrative/crediti-attivita-spor…).

The Second-cycle degree course in Applied Geological Sciences for Environmental Sustainability LM-74 is one of the degree courses for which there is an obligation to conduct a course on safety in the workplace.
All students will be able to follow the compulsory training modules on safety in the workplace by following the instructions at the following link: https://scvsa.unipr.it/it/corso-di-sicurezza.
 

These are training activities meant to provide students with a first degree of knowledge, skills and qualities that come into play when competences are tranlsated into behaviour, answering to a necessitiy of the organisation environment, and to implement and improve the so-called soft skills for a better integration into the world of work.

Soft Skills –Transversal teaching activities for the a.y. 2022/2023

Activities in the field involve specific risks that must be known in order to avoid their consequences. Students participating in such activities are therefore required to read and observe the rules of conduct and information on this page.
The Teaching staff, the Unified Board of Geological Sciences and the Unified Board of Applied Geology for Environmental Sustainability decline all responsibility in the event of damage to persons or property due to failure to comply with the rules listed in this document (print out the declaration of acknowledgement at the end of the document "Equipment and rules of conduct for educational activities in the field", sign it and hand it over to the accompanying teacher on departure for the excursion).
