Course units and programme of study
The programme of study is the set of compulsory and elective course units that the student must take in order to graduate. |
How the programme of study works
The list of course units in the programme of study represents the set of training activities that can be envisaged for each of the years of which the degree course consists and changes according to the year in which the student enrols. Free or restricted-choice course units are optional learning activities that students may include in their programme of study according to the choice criteria specified on this page; the remaining course units are compulsory for all students. |
Specific Operating Instructions for the Degree Course
Contact professor: Prof. Fabrizio Amerini
Operating instructions for the compilation of Programmes of Study specific for individual Degree Courses - Academic Year 2024-2025:
- Teaching in TAF D: It is possible to choose course units from first-cycle degree courses or the Course unit of Philosophy from second-cycle degree course.
- Agreement with the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences of Emilia (ISSRE): Interested students can take exams at the Institute and request their recognition by the Course President as elective exams or additional credits (TAF D). For the Institute's educational offer, refer to the link: https://www.issremilia.it//Internship: by submitting a request to the Course President, it is possible to anticipate the internship in the second year.
- Supernumerary ECTS credits: third-year students are allowed to add free ECTS credits up to a maximum of 12 ECTS credits; once included, the additional ECTS credits become part of the programme of study for all intents and purposes and must necessarily be completed before graduating.
- Programme of study for students outside prescribed time for course completion: the Programme of study cannot be modified. In the event of justified teaching problems, the student must submit a request for amendment to the Course President for approval by the Course Council.
The change in the Programme of Study implies enrolment in the 2024/2025 academic year and the consequent possibility of graduating from the first useful session of that academic year (July 2025).
It is permissible to change a course unit for which an examination has not yet been taken and which was chosen in the compilation of the previous year's plan.
Deadline submssion of the programme of study A.Y. 2024-2025
For the academic year 2024/2025, the study plan can be submitted online during the following periods:
- From 07/10/2024 to 06/12/2024
- From 02/01/2025 to 31/01/2025 (for those who were unable to submit the study plan in the first period or for those who wish to make modifications)
- From 10/03/2025 to 30/04/2025
Instructions and Information Common to All Courses:
The submission of the Study Plan can be done by accessing your web profile. Compilation or changes will only be allowed for students who are properly enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Students Beyond Regular Course Duration:
Students who are enrolled beyond the regular course duration ("fuori corso") are not allowed to modify their Study Plan. If they face any academic issues, they are advised to contact their respective Course Presidents. It is important to note that any changes to the Study Plan require enrollment in the 2024/2025 academic year, making it possible to graduate from the first available session of that academic year (July 2025).
Validations and Recognitions:
Students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year who have requested validations and/or recognitions from their Course Council must still proceed with the compilation of their Study Plan, even if they have not yet received the official approval from the Council. Their academic records are being reviewed, and the related communications will be sent via email.
Half-time students’ programme of study
Half-time means the possibility, at the time of enrolment or during the subsequent academic years of enrolment, to agree on a degree course with a number of ECTS credits equal to 50% of the number of ECTS credits per year.
A part-time student is a student who enrols in the first year or regular years of study and who, for work, health or personal reasons, finds himself/herself unable to devote himself/herself to full-time studies; the following fall into this category:
- students-workers with a contract (employed, self-employed or professional) of not less than six months' duration;
- students with a disability equal to or higher than 45% or certified disability pursuant to Article 3(1) of Law 104/92;
