Communication skills

Graduates in Informatics acquire communication skills, both of a general and professional nature, such as the ability to describe, both concisely and analytically, a problem to be solved and its IT solution, the ability to use techniques and tools (including multimedia) for the effective structuring, presentation and communication of proposed solutions and the results obtained, the ability to use the English language effectively both in technical-scientific contexts and for the exchange of general information.
The computer science graduate also has a good predisposition to integrate and organise his or her activities within collaborative projects.
These skills derive mainly from the experience gained by students through participation in working groups to carry out projects assigned during the course of study, as well as from the preparation, presentation and public discussion of reports and written documents concerning the projects themselves, laboratory activities in general, internship experiences and the results obtained through thesis work.
The results are verified in the course of examinations, laboratory activities, project-based teaching, English language proficiency tests and in the conduct of the final examination.
