Definition of Public health and Preventive medicine.
Definition of health, risk factor, lifestyle.
Determinants of health and diseases.
Primary, secondary, tertiary, quaternary prevention.
Epidemiological studies for the identification of risk factors and evaluation of preventive interventions.
Source of epidemiological data.
Descriptive epidemiological measures.
Measures of association (relative risk, attributable risk, odds ratio). Epidemiological study design.

DIRITTO DELLO SPORT

Teaching methods

Lectures will be held on-site in compliance with safety standards. Supporting material will be available on the specific, student-reserved platform (Elly).

Assessment methods and criteria

The course includes a single final written exam.
The final evaluation will take place through
a multiple-choice quiz
on ELLY platform. The test will last 45 minutes and
will consist
of 31 multiple-choice questions. The test will cover
all the topics covered
in all modules of the course.
One point is assigned to each correct answer, and
the minimum score to
pass the test is 18. The test is evaluated on a scale
of 0-31. A student
who achieves the maximum score (31) will receive
honors.
The questions are designed to assess knowledge,
the ability to apply
knowledge, judgment autonomy, and learning
capacity.
