Health economics, health management. General introduction

Full programme

The 6 meetings lasting 4 hours each take place with teaching that makes use of a teaching supported by slides and a continuous solicitation to compare their experiences and evaluations with the participants. Synchronous distance training or classroom attendance is provided. Some meetings also include the administration of cases and exercises to increase the involvement of the participants and keep the attention and learning curve high.
Opening up the organization, systemic analysis and change in healthcare companies
The systemic analysis of the organization: how to read a health organization and how to do a check up of one's U.O. (tutorial how to read your U.O.)
Organizational design and organizational configurations: coordination and other design elements
Performance evaluation: from organizational performance to individual performance; the three Ps of evaluation (exercise how to evaluate a collaborator)
Quality in health care organizations and operating systems in the organization
Measuring and Evaluating in Healthcare Organizations: Program Summary and Closure

Assessment methods and criteria

The module is an integral part of the course "Hygiene, public health and health policies"
The course includes an oral exam in order to assess the knowledge and skills acquired by the students during the course; moreover critical analysis and communication skills acquired will be evaluated.
In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
remote oral questions, through the Teams platform (guide http://selma.unipr.it/).
