Learning objectives

Students will be provided by the basic notions of neurological semeiotics, the main neurological diseases and the updated therapies.

Semeiology motor and sensory system. Cranial nerves. Changes in consciousness and alertness. Sleep medicine. Infectious and inflammatory pathologies of the CNS Vertigo. Cerebro-vascular pathologies. Brain tumors. Pathologies of the PNS, neuromuscular plaque and myopathies. ALS. Spinal cord pathologies. Primary and secondary headaches. Parkinson's disease. Dementias. Epilepsies

Teaching methods

The lessons will have an interactive relation with the students also based on the presentation of real-life clinical cases. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of the various topics covered will be presented.
