Learning objectives
The course aims at allowing students to understand the basis of imaging techniques, radiation protection principles and the different indications for the assessment of vascular and central nervous system diseases.
Students will learn how to use imaging to solve different clinical problems.

Course unit content
The first part of the course will cover the basics of different imaging techniques: conventional radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, angiography.
The second part of the course will focus on the imaging manifestations of major vascular and central nervous system abnormalities.
