Full programme
General principles of human nutrition. Nutritional intake of macronutrients of carbohydrates, fats and proteins and of trace elements and vitamins. Study of body composition and assessment of nutritional status. Setting a dietary pattern. Nutrition in the prevention of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. Nutrition in chronic diseases such as diabetes, dyslipidaemia, hypertension, coeliac disease and gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases.
