Learning objectives

The internship aims to provide students with practical and in-depth understanding of diagnostic imaging and radiology techniques. Students will acquire skills in the use of radiological equipment, patient management, and interpretation of radiological images. The internship also aims to develop the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and to promote the application of radiological safety standards.

Prerequisites

- 100% mandatory attendance of internship hours
- Completion of assigned activities and intermediate evaluations

Course unit content

Il tirocinio di Diagnostica per Immagini e Radiologia per studenti di Medicina e Chirurgia ha l'obiettivo di fornire una formazione pratica completa nelle tecniche di imaging. Gli studenti acquisiscono competenze nell'uso delle apparecchiature radiologiche come radiografia convenzionale, tomografia computerizzata, risonanza magnetica, ecografia e medicina nucleare. Durante il tirocinio, apprendono a gestire i pazienti, interpretare le immagini radiologiche e applicare le normative di sicurezza radiologica. Il programma include attività pratiche supervisionate, discussione di casi clinici, seminari tematici e valutazioni basate su performance pratica, relazione finale e colloquio con i tutor clinici.

3. Patient Management
- Preparing the patient for radiological procedures
