Why in Parma?
You will acquire advanced scientific knowledge in the field of human motor activities, with particular regard to the preventive and adapted area.
The course includes a period of practical activity, such as training placements at the University of Parma, public bodies, public and private facilities for the elderly, public and private facilities for the disabled, voluntary associations and non-profit-making associations. The course also runs Erasmus programmes and OverWorld scholarships.

After graduation
As a graduate you can exercise functions of high responsibility in planning, conducting and managing preventive and adapted motor activities.
In particular, you will be able to:
- administer adapted physical activity (AFA) for the maintenance of recovered function and adapted exercise (EFA) and for the improvement of functional capacity;
- design physical activity to improve health;
- design and manage promotional, amateur and competitive sports activities at clubs, associations and sports societies;
- organise and manage sports facilities;
- teach educational and recreational activities in schools that require the intervention of educators.
