Why in Parma?
The course gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge in five different curricula (construction, hydraulics, transport infrastructure, structures and general), following your interests and inclinations during the three-year period.
You will actively participate in advanced research activities at all of the Department's laboratories, and will have the opportunity to do a study or thesis placement at the University of Florida.
You will also have the opportunity to do internships and work experience placements in important national and international companies.

After graduation
The main professional opportunities include employment in construction companies, in the construction of civil works and civil infrastructures, in control works and systems and in soil protection.
You will be able to perform freelance activities, work in design companies for building works, road and hydraulic structures and infrastructures, and take on technical roles in public offices for the planning, management and control of urban and land systems (in companies, bodies, consortia and agencies for the management, control and monitoring of land and soil defence, as well as in technical offices of public and private bodies).
