Why in Parma?
Ecology, ethology and botany are disciplines firmly rooted in Parma's university tradition. Parma is one of the few universities in Italy to offer a highly qualified and cutting-edge master's degree course in these subjects.
The degree is held at the 'Department of Chemical, Life and Environmental Sustainability Sciences', qualified as 'Excellence' by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR).
All topics related to the study of nature, from ecology to botany and ethology, will be explored in this course so as to understand animal and plant biodiversity, biological evolution and the effects of climate change on living organisms. You will gain a sound basis for the interpretation of biological data and learn the latest monitoring, observation and analysis techniques through experiences in nature, parks and laboratories.
The research experience, combined with the knowledge acquired, will allow you to make contact with experts in the field and develop a career dedicated to the study of nature, thanks to an extensive collaboration network with Italian and international universities.
