The course of study consists of a three-year degrees of the class L-17 - Architectural Sciences followed by a two-year course and complies with Directive 2005/36/EC concerning the recognition of degrees in Architecture in the European Union.
The course has a strong design focus on environmental, social and economic sustainability themes and includes the disciplines of architectural design, urban, territorial and landscape planning as well as architectural restoration.
Around fifty students enrol each year, of whom 50% come from other Italian universities or from abroad.
The course has an international vocation and has promoted several didactic and scientific cooperation agreements with foreign universities. It is fully taught in English.
In addition, the procedure to obtain a double degree with the Université Internationale de Rabat is being finalised.
Graduates in Architecture and City Sustainability are all employed within a year of graduation, testifying to the success of the course.

Attendance

After graduation
After passing the State Examination, graduates qualify as architects, town and country planners, landscape architects and conservators/restorers.
Our graduates will be in a position to take on roles of high responsibility in public and private institutions and organisations (institutional bodies, public and private companies, design companies), operating in the fields of construction and transformation of human settlements and the territory.
In addition, more than a thousand agreements with Italian and foreing public bodies, companies and professional studios have been set to provide traineeships and internships before and after graduation, so as to deepen the professional skills acquired during the course.
Furthermore, it is possible to continue the academic training at the University of Parma by attending the European Master's Degree in Urban Regeneration or the PhD in Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Every degree course has one or more professors who can provide information and help future students clarifying their doubts about attending the course.
