Why in Parma?
The course is of great economic importance for primary animal production and its subsequent processing into food products. The environmental setting is particularly well known for the production of excellent products. The basic idea is that "only from quality raw material can a quality product be born." The agro-food vocation of the area and the focus on the production and processing of high quality products, known all over the world, are an example and a stimulus for other experiences projected both in a national and international context. In addition there is a specific interest in the world of horses, which is a unique unique course at the national level.
The course, in fact, presents three curricula, designed to meet specific demands of the world of work:
- Animal Production Sciences (SPA, for those who intend to work within livestock farms for farm animals)
- Technology, typicality and safety of animal productions (TTSPA, for those who intend to deal with the processing of food of animal origin)
- Equine science and techniques (STE, for those who intend to work in the horse world).
The choice of curriculum is made at the time of enrollment in the third year.
