Why in Parma?
You will attend a course with an ancient history and tradition, but in tune with the times.
Thanks to the extensive network of agreements with healthcare facilities in the area, you will have the opportunity to attend training placements in numerous qualified institutions as early as the first year.
The teaching staff is mostly coming from the midwifery profession and guarantees high quality teaching.
During your studies you will familiarise yourself with the many areas of competence of midwives and the importance of their role for women.
You will perform exercises using new technology simulators in the SIMLAB teaching laboratory and the teaching laboratory in the Obstetrics-Gynaecology Clinic.
The degree course is geared towards internationalisation. In addition to the Erasmus+ Programme, the cooperation with the 'Universidade de São Paulo' in Brazil will allow those who pass the selections based on the excellence of the curriculum studiorum to simultaneously acquire a degree in 'Obstetrics' at the Brazilian university, thus enabling them to perform the profession both in the EU countries and in Brazil.
