Career prospects

Degree graduates in Social and clinical applied psychology will be able to register in Section A of the Register of Psychologists after completing their professional internship and passing the State examination, thus acquiring the title of Psychologist.

If he/she intends to turn to the labour market, the registered second-cycle degree graduate will be able to find employment as a freelancer, consultant, or within public, private or private-social bodies (cooperatives, associations). Due to the specific skills acquired in the degree course in Social and clinical applied psychology, the graduate will be able to exercise functions of responsibility for intervention aimed at individuals, groups and communities.

If he/she then wishes to pursue higher education, the second-cycle degree graduate can access three-year PhD programmes, one- or two-year second-level professional master programmes and four-year Schools of Psychotherapy.
