Learning objectives
Acquire fundamental knowledge of the central and periferal nervous system physiology and be able to recognize clinically relevant signs and symptoms of the most important and common neurological diseases.

Fundamentals of histology and anatomy of the nervous system

Headaches (migraines, cluster headaches, trigeminal neuralgia, post-herpetic neuralgia)
Epilepsy and status epileptic disease (causes and treatments)
Demyelinating diseases
Neurodegenerative diseases
Parkinson's disease and parkinsonisms
Cranial nerves and related pathologies
Acute cerebrovascular diseases (stroke): etiology, risk factors, and specific treatments
First and second motor neuron diseases (pyramidal syndrome)
Cerebrospinal fluid
Neuro-muscular junction and peripheral nerve disorders.
