Characteristics of the final examination
The final examination consists of the preparation and discussion of an original paper written by the student (possibly in English) under the guidance of a supervisor. The paper is the fruit of broad and in-depth study of a topic in the field of computer science or automation, both basic and applied.
The final examination is worth a number of ECTS credits commensurate with the time commitment required of the student. The presentation of the dissertation takes place in a public session, before the committee specially appointed by the teaching facilities.
