Course Council

Unified Course Council in Chemistry (CU-Chim) The CU-Chim is the Course Council of the Courses of Study (CCS) responsible for the planning of courses of study and the management of all courses of study in the Chemistry area of the Department. This unified management provides an overview of the chemical training pathway from the First-cycle degree in Chemistry (L-27: class of degrees in chemistry) to the Second-cycle degrees in Chemistry (LM-54: class of Second-cycle degrees in chemistry) and in Industrial Chemistry (L-71: class of Second-cycle degrees in industrial chemistry).
The Council consists of all teaching staff who have teaching responsibility for one of the course units in the three degree courses and 8 student representatives.
The tasks of the  Course Council are governed by the University Regulations.
The Council consists of the teaching staff and researchers on the course and a representative of the students.
Student representatives: Monica Milani, Gabriele Motta, Pier Dario Monica, Giulia Cassi, Lorenzo Savi, Giuditta Cicconi, Filippo Scaravella

Teaching regulations of the course of study

The CU-Chim is supported by a Teaching Committee, composed of one representative from each of the five scientific disciplines most involved in the training programme (Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Organic Chemistry). It deals with all problems relating to requests for access to the degree courses, transfers and recognition of credits earned in other educational structures, as well as access to internships, dissertations and final exams.

Chairman of the Teaching Committee Prof. Enrico Cavalli

Analytical Chemistry representative Prof. Federica Bianchi

Physical Chemistry representative Prof. Francesca Terenziani

Inorganic Chemistry representative Prof. Matteo Tegoni

Industrial Chemistry representative Prof. Elena Motti

Organic Chemistry representative Prof. Andrea Secchi

Advising Committee

The Advising Committee of the CU-Chim carries out orientation activities especially for secondary school students by organising seminars on topical issues, guided visits to university facilities, laboratory internships also in connection with the school-to-work alternation activities.
It also organises the activities of the tutors and laboratory trainers. It works in coordination with the Department's Scientific Degrees Project (PLS) Commission.

Chairman of the Advising Committee Prof. Francesco Sansone

Representative of Analytical Chemistry Prof. Antonella Cavazza

Representative of Physical Chemistry Prof. Matteo Masino

Representative of Inorganic Chemistry Prof. Luciano Marchiò

Representative of Industrial Chemistry Prof. Nicola Della Ca'

Representative of Organic Chemistry Prof. Laura Baldini

Contact person for students with disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders or vulnerable groups

The course contact person for the vulnerable groups works in close collaboration with CAI (Welcome and Inclusion University Centre) on the reception, assistance, social integration and rights of people with disabilities, Specific Learning Difficulties and Special Educational Needs.

Prof. Marco Giannetto

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee, which is made up of a representative number of Faculty members from the pharmaceutical courses of study and representatives from the world of work, ensures constant contact with the world of business and work, in order to assess the progress of the courses of study, to draw up proposals for the definition and design of the course catalogue and learning objectives, and to promote contacts for any internships for students in companies and institutions.

Joint Committee of Teachers and Students - CPDS

Each department establishes a Joint Committee of Teachers and Students (CPDS) consisting of one lecturer and one student from each course of study pertaining to the department.

The CPDS is a permanent observatory on teaching activities.
