PhD students have access to a large set of tools for the analysis and characterization of samples; thanks to the support of the 2018 and 2023 "Departments of Excellence" initiative, and that of the groups involved in the college thanks to their research fundings, the instrumental park is particularly large and recent. Some examples are shown below.
