The degree course aims to train first level technical professionals who contribute to the design and construction process of civil and environmental engineering works. There are many different possible employment outlets after graduation: construction companies for civil works, installations for works and infrastructures, control and soil protection works and systems; professional studios and design companies; public offices for planning, management and control of urban and countryside systems; consortiums and agencies for land management, control and monitoring; technical offices of public and private bodies.
The degree enables participation in the state examination for qualifying as a junior engineer.
Students interested in continuing their studies and specialising can take two master's degrees in civil and environmental engineering: Civil Engineering and Environmental and Territorial Engineering.
