Course presentation - video

Why in Parma?

By studying Physics at Parma you will experience first hand the innovative areas of research of our Department. If you see yourself investigating fundamental interactions and analyzing particle accelerator data at CERN, then theoretical physics may be your avenue. If 'biosensor' research inspires you, you could be suited for biophysics.  If studying innovative materials needed for the quantum computers of the near future appeals to you, you might pursue materials physics.

Parma offers a broad spectrum of specializations, from applied to fundamental physics, in a degree programme that includes as many as 38 CFUs (undergraduate credits) of laboratory work. The course has an excellent ratio students/professors which, coupled with many hours of lectures and laboratory practice spent together, fosters a supportive, intense and enjoyable college life.
