Course presentation - video

Why in Parma?

The second-cycle interclass course in History and Critic of Arts and Performance creates synergies between the study of the art historical disciplines proper to the LM-89 and the sciences of the performing arts and multimedia production proper to the LM-65.

Starting from a common core focused on the valorisation of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage, the students of the two courses will be able to deepen in the LM-65 the skills useful for the study, deepening and transmission of theoretical and technical knowledge at an advanced level in the performing arts; the students of the LM-89 will acquire knowledge and skills related to the protection, valorisation, management and legislation of the historical and artistic heritage, focusing also on the phases of museographic presentation.

The interclass course in Parma is based on the long tradition of art historical studies that has characterised our University for more than half a century, and on the considerable resources present in the provincial and regional territory in the fields of museums, music, performance and film.
