Knowledge and applied knowledge of scientific and healthcare settings
managerial English. This course enables students to improve their
knowledge of English grammar and lexicon of the specific professional
field and to develop their reading and comprehension skills as crucial
tools of reading and comprehension of scientific articles in English

1.Strengthening of grammar knowledge throuth Scientific HealthCare
Setting English use:
► Grammar and translation from Italian to English;
► study of Scientific and Healthcare settings managerial lexicon;
2.Reading and comprehension strategies: careful reading, usual reading,
accelerated reading, skimming and scanning;
► Reading and comprehension of scientific articles, papers and online
resources (structure and specific lexicon).
