Learning objectives

Leyomiomas: to describe symptoms, diagnosis and treatment
Pelvic floor and its anomalies: causes and consequences
Epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of most frequent gyneacological cancers.
To detect anomalies in female physiology through reproductive and non reproductive ages.
Amenorrhea and its implications.
Menopause: diagnosis, implications, treatment
STD
Inflamatory pelvic desease and its therapy.
Endometriosis: diagnosis, implications and therapy.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of the anatomy of the female pelvis and reproductive tract.

Course unit content

Cervical cancer screening and its results; colposcopy, treatment of preinvasive desease.
Leyomiomas: diagnosis and treatment
