Learning objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- know the main data collection techniques concerning the experience of illness
- know the techniques of narrative interview and patient agenda
- know the main problems of a psycho-socio-relational nature of patients
Course unit content
The course intends to provide knowledge in relation to nursing data collection techniques with qualitative tools.
In particular, the following will be addressed:
Theoretical assumptions and communication techniques
Data collection techniques
Narrative interview techniques
Patient agenda
Autobiography
Assessment of the main psycho-socio-relational care problems

Assessment methods and criteria
The final exam will be part of the integrated course exam. The student will be evaluated through a multi-answer quiz
